UNDERSTANDING RESTLESS LEG SYNDROME
RESTLESS LEG SYNDROME & ACTIVITY VIRTUAL STUDY
Are you living with Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS)? We are seeking participants for a two-week observational study aimed at understanding how everyday activities—such as walking, and climbing—may affect the severity of RLS symptoms. Your participation could help improve treatment and management strategies for everyone living with RLS.

About this study
✅ 2-Week Observational Study
If you are eligible, you will not be asked to make any changes to your current daily routine. You will be invited to participate in a simple daily survey.
⌚️ Smartwatch Enabled
Share your activity data with researchers by connecting your own Garmin, Oura ring, Whoop or Fitbit or Apple Watch.
🎁 Participant Incentive Available

What's Involved
- Verify Eligibility and Enroll: Sign up through our online platform and complete a short screening to confirm eligibility for the study.
- Connect Your Own Compatible Wearable Device: Use your own wearable device capable of collecting daily step count, floors climbed, and sleep data.
- Track Daily Activities and Symptoms: Continuously record your physical activities and sleep patterns using your wearable device. Log your RLS severity and any changes in symptoms through regular check-ins on our platform.
- Complete the Study: Participants who fulfill all study requirements over the four-week period will be able to download their personal study data via the Alethios platform once all participants have completed the study. Compensation will be provided at the end of the study period.

What's being studied?
The objective of this study is to understand the potential impact of the amount of standing-walking-climbing daily and changes in Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) severity. Physical activity will be measured from wearable devices. RLS severity will be correlated to assessment of sleep and heart rate data from wearable devices.
